Spring has sprung! With a couple of weeks of daylight saving time under our belt, the days are becoming longer, the sun is shining (hopefully), and we can finally begin to stop and smell the roses. It’s also a good time to remind ourselves to pause in our busy schedules and appreciate our beautiful planet.
While April 22 is Earth Day, here at Cross Timbers Lifestyle, we are celebrating the planet all month long with our “Eco” issue.
In this month’s issue, we had a ball meeting many new folks while uncovering some hidden talents of friends we’ve met along the way. We highlight the people and places in our community who are committing to keeping this planet beautiful—from local farms using sustainable practices and eco-friendly organizations giving back to the community to local gardeners growing organic foods at home to fuel-efficient vehicles for sale at local dealerships.
But, you don’t have to be a farmer or business owner to do your part. Shop at the local farmers market and support local growers, visit local businesses who create eco-friendly products or even just start recycling. Try something new during this season of rebirth.
No matter what you do, we at Cross Timbers Lifestyle support your effort to get out and soak up this lovely spring weather while you enjoy our beautiful community, our own special piece of planet Earth. So, take a hike, plant some basil or just kick back and sit on your porch.
