Sept. 23 marks the official first day of fall, and while temperatures may beg to differ, we are well into football, school projects and new fall fashions. Here at Cross TimbersLifestyle, we are pleased to bring you our annual Style Issue to lead you into a spectacular fall season.
For our fall fashion shoot, we hopped over to the MCL Grand Main Art Gallery to check out the Fresh Ideas Art Show, a perfect backdrop to showcase the fabulous designs from Megan’s Lifestyle Boutique. Thank you to the Visual Art League of Lewisville for their work in the community supporting the arts. And a big thank you to our stunning models, local ladies who shine daily as they represent our community so well.
Toni Elmer with House Sprucing offers tips on how to “Style Your Walls,” and we also look at ways to “Dress Up Your Drink.” In “A Night to Shine,” we highlight a local community effort, sponsored in part by the Tim Tebow Foundation, where a special needs prom gives special kids the chance to dress up to the nines and reign as kings and queens.
Finally, in “Always in Fashion,” Cross Timbers Lifestyle Editorial Coordinator Stephanie Hasbrouck pays homage to her father, Steve Morris, and their shared love of music. Great music is stylish and evokes emotions and memories we hold dear. Stephanie shares some timeless favorites you’ll want to try out, so slip into something fabulous, pull out your vinyl collection and turn up the volume.
Stay stylish, dear friends, and have a spectacular September!
